Since development began on the Cataclysm 4.3.4 Pure PvP Arena Pass realm, we knew that it was going to be an uphill battle. Being constantly presented with brand new problems that we had to figure out how to fix from scratch. Whether it be with classes, pets, or even the core, there was always something that would get in the team's way, but with combined efforts, we were always able to knock down those walls one at a time. Because of Remedy's unwavering dedication and sticking to it's guns from the beginning, Remedy is proud to announce the release of Arena Pass. An Instant 85 4.3.4 polished PvP experience for Cataclysm like no other.
As the realm releases on December 22, 2017, so will the pre-season. The Pre-season will be active for 1 month from server launch. At the end of the pre-season, we will be hosting our first invitational tournament. Invitations will be sent to players who have reached the top of the ladder in the 3v3 bracket during the pre-season as well as select elite individuals who have proven time and time again that their complex, strategic, and skillful game play belongs in tournaments like this. We look forward to seeing you all compete for top spots, and most importantly, seeing you fight for the grand prize.
What is Arena Pass?
Arena Pass is an Instant 85 pure PvP realm that has been actively developed and polished to ensure the best Cataclysm PvP experience possible. We at Remedy have gone out of our way to ensuring that quality and an accurate experience are there for our players, regardless of what class you play.
What Gear do I Start In?
Players will be able to start in full Ruthless Gladiator armor and earn Cataclysmic through Battlegrounds and Arenas. Players will be able to get Cataclysmic off-pieces rather quickly through Battlegrounds and low level arenas in order to close the gear gap between new and seasoned players.
When is the Release Date?
The realm will be LIVE on December 22, 2017. 18:00 CET

The realm will officially launch before December 25th. The exact date will be announced after the PTR closes and we re-evaluate our schedule and the remaining issues.
We posted a Dev Blog on our Forum and Discord reviewing the first 10 days of the Arena Pass PTR. You can find many details and explanations regarding our development there.
Our plan is to reward the dedicated members of our community that have demonstrated their commitment to Remedy. We will consider your involvement in pre-release stages of the realm, including the number of confirmed bug reports, creative ideas and discussions, as well as help in the form of advertisements or media creation aimed to promote Remedy. Rewards will be sent at the official launch.
In order to achieve our goal of a bug-free Official Launch we must extend our instant 85 PvP realms Open Beta until Thursday, November 23rd. This will give the community time to finish testing and reporting as many bugs as possible, so we can fix them before release.
We are thankful for your patience and for the dedication of our testing community, we will deliver on our promise and fix every gameplay and scaling issue that is reported before launch.
The Remedy Team
Thanks to all of your hard work in tracking down and reporting bugs on the 4.3.4 Instant 85 Arena Pass realm, the developers have been able to work hard to quickly identify and fix a number of bugs with custom features and classes. Those changes and hard work have been posted here: http://remedywow.info/changelog/1
We hope we got most of them, and we'll be actively hunting down the rest! Keep it up guys, the beta is going great and we are really happy with the turnout. If there's a bug you seen in-game but not on the changelog, let us know here: http://remedywow.info/bugtracker/1
We are happy to announce that Arena Pass is now live. Remember that the purpose of this beta phase is to identify any remaining bugs, primarily on class spells. Please make sure to report all issues on our bug tracker. Happy gaming and bug-hunting!
After long last, the team at Remedy is excited to announce the FINAL PTR this Wednesday, November 8th at 20:00 CET for the Instant 85 Pure PvP Cataclysm realm.
The realm will be online for one week (with a possible bug extension period if bugs are consistently reported). The release of launch will be announced shortly after the PTR is over. 2017 is our year! We look forward to seeing you online.
After almost two weeks, Remedy is ready to re-open it's Beta doors for it's 3.3.5 Realm Mal'ganis to test the fixes made to several features including Challenge Modes, Molten Core, scenarios, and so much more.
We'll be starting the testing phase at 11PM EST on Sunday, Sept. 3rd - Monday Sept 4th with hopes of getting a large amount of raid testing, challenge mode testing, and fine polishing content both Blizzlike and Remedy Custom.
With the success of this testing phase, Remedy will very likely have a launch date for it's 3.3.5 realm in official black and white. Help us make this testing phase worth it!
We closed access to our 4.3.4 realm in order to focus on the 3.3.5 beta this weekend.
We'll be publically opening the realm on Friday, August 18th at around 7pm EST.
If you wish, you can also apply for the internal test team on Discord. Message Signa for further details.
The majority of the players that were granted beta access to our previous beta will have full access to all our beta cycles until Stormrage is released. The realm will be online and accessible throughout the weekend and then shutdown again so we can perform some internal testing and patch everything up before proceeding with further testing. The aim of this beta is to collect the major spell and general PvP bugs since internal testing at this stage would take a long time.
After the weekend is over the realm will close down again and we will be announcing the next closed beta weekend. In the case where we need more players for further testing we will be announcing player invites during the upcoming beta cycles.
First off, we need to apologize for the delay in this post. At no point in time have we ever given up on Stormrage 4.3.4. Over the last several months, we have been working on replacing our old unstable core with a clean and stable TrinityCore. Due to the differences between the two cores, all of the custom scripts needed to be re-checked, all of the vendors had to be re-added, and all of the class fixes made this far had to be tested and re-implemented on the new core. It was a very time consuming proccess and the limited resources, time, and team members we have, did not make it any easier.
We are proud to say after an amazing team push, we are basically back to where we need to be to finish off the testing and get the server on the right track for release.
Our focus can now be directed to techicnal class and other general pvp fixes. We have been doing extensive testing to ensure the new core's amazing stability and since we have already gone through the fixes before, we are able to get through this at a much faster pace. As of Friday, August 11th, the team at Remedy will be further increasing the size of the closed beta team for Cataclysm 4.3.4 in attempts to get all class bugs identified and fixed as fast as possible and get on with release! We hope for a reletively quick testing phase so we can move one step closer to our release goal.
We will be contacing players who participated in our previous closed beta and were actively reporting bugs to provide more details about the testing. If we feel that we need to give access to more players, we will provide a public application form for everyone who is interested.
We hope you are still with us, and we look forward to seeing you online!
With the team at Remedy really cracking down on Mal'ganis 3.3.5, we feel it's only appropriate to share with you guys some of the amazing fixes and updates we've added in the past couple of weeks in order to ensure an absolutely amazing launch. Below are updates and fixes that the team at Remedy has worked hard to accomplish. We hope you enjoy them!
It has been a while since our last news post and changelog. The reason for that is we recently joined development forces with WowZealot to increase our productivity and achieve our target quality in a shorter period of time. We had to accept the fact that a game like World of Warcraft simply cannot be perfected by only 2 core developers in a reasonable timeframe.
We are currently in the process of transferring Remedy features and fixes to the new core and fine-tuning PvP mechanics. We would like to stress out that this partnership will not affect either of our realms in any way. This is only a core development collaboration. Remedy Stormrage will remain an instance 85 realm focusing on PvP gameplay.
Our current PTR will end on the 17th of June and will remain offline until our new core is ready to serve players. More details about our progress as well as date estimates for early access will be announced as soon as possible.
For any questions or concerns please use our forums.
Over the past few weeks, the team at Remedy has been working hard internally on errors and bug reports for both the 4.3.4 and 3.3.5a servers. As progress in both departments continues to head in the promising direction that the team aspires to achieve, we're nearly ready to add the upcoming changes to the Beta realms Stormrage 4.3.4 and Mal'ganis 3.3.5 in the coming weeks.
Because of the high quantity of error fixes being added, both on the simplistic side and the highly techicnal, we will be temporarily closing public access the Stormrage 4.3.4 and the Mal'Ganis 3.3.5a in the near future until we can add all of our new changes as well as test them with our internal team to ensure the changes are the quality that our players deserve. The date and time of these closures will be posted on the front page when they have been confirmed.
As we inch our way towards the finish line, we cannot express deeply enough how thankful we are for all of your support. It is through the players that Remedy will succeed.
